A little bit of spring

Now how cute are these three soft green little egg shell flower pots??
Cute right!?
I saw them at my supermarket and thought they would go great with the Tilda 'All that is spring' collection by Tone Finnanger
In them are daffodils waiting to bloom....
The flower pots look lighter they they really are, but there's too much light in the room to show you the real color

With the lovely weather we are having I thought it was time for some flowers, to bring the outside in doors
So I jumped on my bicycle and went to my favorite flower store, they look lovely don't they!?

Tilda (Tone Finnanger) Easter Decoration

Easter is just around the corner and how fun is it to make your own Easter decoration?
I wanted to do it in the style from the new Tilda by Tone Finnanger collection 'All that is spring' and 'Summer fair'

I already made the mother hare and child (kit), but thought that that wasn't enough... and what is Easter without Easter eggs, right!?
So I bought different sizes of styrofoam eggs, mod podge and yarn (soft green and beige) that is the same color as the fabrics
The eggs are really easy and fun to make, something you can also do with kids! Yesterday I bought really tiny styrofoam eggs and want to use brown yarn for them

For the big styrofoam eggs I used fabric from the new Tilda 'All that is spring' / 'Summer fair' collection and the decoupage images from the paperbloc from the same collection

Delicious club sandwich

Hiya everybody, just made this club sandwich and it was delicious!!

Here is the recipe if you like to make it yourself....

You will need the following ingredients (for 1 person)

• 1 avocado
• 2 tablespoons of mayonnaise
• 3 slices of brown bread
• iceberg lettuce
• turkey breast
• slices of cucumber
• slices of tomato
• 1 boiled egg
• 2 slices of bacon (baked crispy in the oven)

Mash the avocado and add the mayonnaise

Toast the bread en spread them with the avocado mixture

On two slices of toasted bread you put iceberg lettuce, turkey breast, tomato, cucumber, egg and bacon

Place the slices of bread on top of each other and place the third slice of bread (with the avocado mixture down of course) on top of them

Press everything down a bit, secure the bread with a 'toothpick' and cut diagonally

Tone Finnanger Tilda All that is spring.... mother hare and child

Today I would like to show you guys the mother hare and child from the new Tone Finnanger Tilda collection All that is spring.
It was so fun making them because they look just so cute together and the new fabrics are beautiful.
They come in a kit.... there are a couple of things different from the original though. The embroidery yarn for their noses (I thought) was too pink for my tast, so I bought a lighter and softer pink and the other thing is the sleeves.
The original have more of a puffy sleeve and they hand sewn across the chest, but I didn't want to do that.... it looked better this way (I thought)
Oh I just saw that the mother hare hasn't got a ruffled flower.... oops!
Well it looks the same as on the child hare's dress, so it's not a biggy ;)
