FREE BERRY MOD KIT “ERNA & BERT” LALYLALA DOLLS

©Lalylala handmade - Lydia Tresselt

ERNA and BERT have known each other since they were little flowers back in their very early years. They grew up together in the same backyard with numerous brothers and sisters. After the successful graduation on the tree nursery ERNA worked as a cake topping in a cupcake bakery (get her secret cupcake recipe)

BERT always enjoyed tinkering. He invented a device that could make phone calls mobile. With the money that he earned when he sold his idea, ERNA and BERT opened a greengrocery. No, not the kind of greengrocery you might know! It’s a place where the lalylala fruits and vegetables meet and spend their time together. There is also a spa where the stressed-out city fruit can relax in a hot tub full of milk or recover it's skin with a refreshing yogurt mask. There’s also a juicer for those who need a massage for loosening.

ERNA and BERT are totally into chocolate. They love the color green, springtime and they got a big library filled with horror books (cookbooks about how to make jam, jelly or marmalade) and they are scarily fascinated by Martha Stewart.

Oh my sweet goodness aren't they just the cutest things you have seen in your life!
Erna and Bert are the new Lalylala dolls made by the very lovely  and talented Lydia Tresselt
When you visit her website you will find the other Lalylala's and all the information you need... I'm sure there is a Lalylala you'll love and want to make ;)

Now which one shall I make first..... hmmmm I think Erna (the strawberry) because she is easier to make, hahaha
I made Lupo the Lam once and to make all those bubble stitches is a lot of work I can tell you... and I'm not that patience! =P

Anyways, I'm off to bed and dream of Erna & Bert...

Rambert the Ram

Today I would like to introduce you to.... Rambert the Ram!
It's a design by IlDikko and I immediately fell in love with him when I was searching the internet for a fun new crochet pattern
He just looks so funny with his horns and mouth, hahaha.... wait horns how was I going to make those!? Simple... (after I bought and read the pattern) electricity wire!!

For his body and hair I used yarn from Schachenmayr Original 'Brazilia' 00001 white...

... and for the rest I used yarn from Schachenmayr Original 'Catania' color 0263 beige and Phildar 'Minerai' 227 dark grey
And last but not least use two safety eyes... now lets hope Rambert the Ram does eat all of my little herbs and vegetables that I'm trying to grow, hahaha

Have a lovely sunny crochet day,
Corianne

Spotlight: Missjettle

++ Paastafel ++

Fijne paasdagen!

Liefs, Jet

My little Lalylala family

Hello hello my sweeties... yes it has been a while hasn't it, but there is a good reason for it
I finally learned how to CROCHET!!!
So you see... you are never too old to learn something new, hahaha

Now I discovered the Lalylala dolls about 3 months ago and wanted to make Kira the Kangaroo so badly and asked my mom to teach me who to crochet (thanks mom!)
And then I got hooked.... hahaha hooked, get it =P

Lalylala's are created by the very talented and sweet Lydia Tresselt!
On Lydia's website you can find all of her creations and where you can buy the patterns in your language
You can even get the Rita the Rabbit pattern for free (you only need to buy one of her patterns for the body)
Now when you have a look at her website (you really should) you will see that I changed Rita the Rabbit... I didn't make the embroidery rose but instead made a sunday ice cream hat
Maybe I will give her a scarf, what do you think!?

Anyways, I really enjoy making these dolls and wonder which one I will make next

Magnolia Tilda and Edwin 'hear no evil, see no evil, speak no evil' stamps

The cute Magnolia Tilda and Edwin 'hear no evil, see no evil, speak no evil' collection where designed for Pink Ribbon the Dutch cancer awareness foundation
Money goes to Pink Ribbon for research, so they don't only look cute but you also support a great 'charity'... so what are you waiting for! ;)

Have a lovely evening, Corianne
